Today was one of those days where I had zero desire to get wake up. I just came back from a weekend road trip. I’m exhausted and achy from walking and in no mood to adult, so it’s days like these that I go for my go to Stress Less Look.
It’s all about making comfort look chic and effortless and my favorite colors to work with are browns and golds for the eyes because it’s really hard to mess that up in my opinion and they compliment my green eyes.
I love using my BH Cosmetics Super Nova palette for this look as not only do they have those easy to use warm colors, but also a nice selection of cool colors which makes this palette quite versatile.
Even though the colors are baked and give off a nice shimmer, I create a quick look with just 2 colors: Celestial and Phoenix.
First I blend Celestial with a fluffy brush into the crease and dip into it a bit more to deepen the outer V. I then drag it down to the lower lash to smoke it out a bit. Once everything is nice and buffed in, I gently tap on Phoenix with my finger on the center of the lid and move toward the inner eye.
Just add mascara and you are done!
No time to mess with hair today, so it goes in a Not So Messy Bun. Top it off with a cute head band like this one I got on Amazon and you are set.
I was working from home today, so I could have stayed in PJ’s all day, but I took as advantage of the cool weather and threw on my favorite pair of Old Navy light blue jeggings (no longer on their website) and my new grey and white plaid shirt, also from Old Navy.

The Beauty Swatcher 
I came close to buying this palette. I already had the Galaxy Chic palette, and then I saw this one and the Solar Flare palette. I didn’t want to spend the money on both at the moment, so I opted for the Solar Flare one instead. I’ll probably eventually get this one too though.

They are all really similar, but I find that Super Nova has a nice collection of warm and cool tones, which so does Galaxy Chic, it without the marbling. I honestly wish I would have bought it first and it’s way more versatile! However, for $9 on sale? Totally worth the splurge to complete the collection. 😀
